Trans Pride Kent 2026
Kent’s first - and the country’s only county-wide - Trans Pride lands at Westgate
Hall in Canterbury on Saturday 28 March 2026, bringing a full day dedicated to
connection, visibility, and community support. Designed as a grassroots Pride with
real purpose, Trans Pride Kent focuses on linking the county’s trans community
with peers, local services, and LGBTQ+ allies in one welcoming space.
Across the day, you can expect community stalls, guest speakers, live acts,
and opportunities to meet organisations offering practical support. The aim is
simple: strengthen networks, share resources, and celebrate trans lives across
Kent and beyond.
Trans Pride Kent is the brainchild of LGBTQ+ activist Shea Coffey, co-founder
of Medway Pride Radio and Rainbows over Medway, alongside her wife Sarah.
Recently joined by Jordan Chan director of Swale Pride and founder
of Queer Kent Life - the team brings
together experience, activism, and
genuine grassroots energy.
Doors open at 10am, with tickets
essential. Whether you’re part of the
trans community, LGBTQ+ family or
an ally wanting to show up in person,
this is an important addition to Kent’s
Pride calendar.
