Freak Out!
The full programme for London Fetish Week —
happening Sunday 6th and Sunday 13th July — has
been announced and would you look at that, there’s
a colossal amount of filth and fun for you mucky lot
to get stuck into. Here are some of the picks…
Recon Members' Party
Masterclass
Full Fetish
Recon Members’ Party, Sunday 6th
This year’s festivities kick off with the annual bash for Recon members, who can
apply for an invite on the site, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
Think of this free event as something akin to an icebreaker, complete with music,
Fetish Cabaret
games, canapes and an open bar (which is first-come, first-served). The raucously
funny Baby Lame will be keeping everyone entertained, while Gordon John is DJing.
6pm-10pm, FABRIC, 77a Charterhouse Street, EC1M 6HJ
Nearest Station: Farringdon
Fetish Cabaret, Tuesday 8th
We won’t lie — there are ample opportunities for getting your end away during
fetish week. However, there are also several chances to celebrate fetish culture
and the community surrounding it. The annual Fetish Cabaret does just this, and
though the line-up’s yet to be announced, there’s always a mesmerising mix of
burlesque, circus and generally unclassifiable acts on the bill.
7pm-midnight, Electrowerkz, 7 Torrens Street, EC1V 1NQ
Nearest Station: Angel
Masterclass, Wednesday 9th
If you’re a complete newbie, the world of kink can seem a little mysterious, but that
actually couldn’t be further from the truth. Veterans of the scene are usually more
than happy to share their hard-earned knowledge, especially at the midweek
Masterclass. This event will feature workshops, talks and demos on a range of
sexy topics, plus give you the chance to meet others with similar interests.
6pm-midnight, Electrowerkz, 7 Torrens Street, EC1V 1NQ
Nearest Station: Angel
Full Fetish, Saturday 12th
Every year, Fetish Week ends with a massive party, with one of the capital’s
iconic venues being transformed into a pervert’s paradise — we’re talking cruise
mazes, a BDSM area, w/s zone and a few surprises, too. Added to that, there’ll
be three dancefloors and an enviable roster of DJ talent to keep the geared-up
masses moving until dawn. All fetishes are welcome, but you need to be properly
geared up to get through the door.
10pm-6am, Electrowerkz, 7 Torrens Street, EC1V 1NQ
Nearest Station: Angel.
