MJ Palmer might have his hands full with JOCK
Party and Shop, but he gave us a few minutes of his
time to chat with us about his upcoming plans
Hey MJ, How is JOCK Party different in London than in Manchester and
other locations where you’ve hosted?
London at the minute has more of a sex party vibe — we’re at MA1 The Bunker,
so we’ve branded it JOCK XXX as it’s a little off track from our normal feel. We’re
actively looking for a venue for our classic naughty dance party, too — if any
venues are interested in hosting us, drop me an email through our website! The
music is also a bit different: London leans more towards a tech-house crowd,
where Manchester is all about that big vocal house energy.
What ingredients do you need for the perfect JOCK party?
A fierce crowd, a killer DJ, plenty of jocks, and a little bit of mischief. It’s about
creating a space where guys feel confident, sexy, and ready to let loose. We’re
serious about the music and the vibe — but at the end of the day, it’s about
having fun and feeling free.
You also run JOCK Shop — what are your favourite pieces on the site at
the moment?
I’m absolutely in love and so proud of our new Classic and Signature JOCK
harness and jockstrap bundles (pictured below). You can now grab a full bundle —
jock, harness, bicep bands, and our brand-new socks. Plus, we’ve just launched a
crop top and jock bundle (below), with deals starting from just £37.99!
So, what’s next for the JOCK brand?
On the shop side, we’ve stripped it back to focus only on our own- brand products
for underwear and fashion — they’re our best sellers, and it means we can focus
on what makes JOCK unique. Loads of new releases are coming: we’ve got
singlets launching later this year and a full summer collection dropping very soon!
Party-wise, 2025 is looking huge with our new London party at The Bunker, a
massive party lined up for Bristol Pride at Dare2 Club in July, and talks underway for
JOCK Newcastle too. We’re also aiming for a European party — probably next year
now — and we’re planning a major relaunch in Manchester to freshen up the brand
there. Plus, JOCK Birmingham is about to start soon at Eden, and we can’t wait!
Outside of JOCK, tell us something about MJ Palmer that might surprise us.
I’m gonna lose a few street cred points for this, but I’ve developed a bit of an
obsession with candlemaking! My room is absolutely full of them. I’ve been
playing around with different men’s scent oils and
some crazy moulds — making everything from
skulls and statues of David to plain ones, and even
the occasional willy candle! Honestly, that’s all
anyone’s getting for birthdays and Christmases
from now on.
