Fucking Men
Right, you really haven’t got long to catch the latest round of
Fucking Men shows if you haven’t already — or if you simply
want to see it again while you’ve got the chance. Written by
Joe DiPietro, this cult classic is based on the infamous opera
La Ronde and follows the bed-hopping adventures of ten
men, exploring a number of hot-topic queer issues along the
way. Though originally staged in 2009, the script has been
modernised slightly ahead of this run, but all the original
warmth and wit remain.

We’re guessing there are a fair few readers who don’t have
the fondest memories of sports day at their schools, but
the Rose and Crown’s yearly event is much more joyful and
PE teacher-free. Teams compete in a wide range of events,
from three-legged races and cake decorating to lip-sync
battles. The ever-wonderful Miss Aisles (pictured) oversees
this chaos and a heap of money is raised for MacMillan. To
compete, simply sign up at the bar on the day, but you’re also
free to stand on the sidelines and quip away.
